So before the government shut down, i decided to do a tune up on my teggy. Everything went normal till i decided to take a quick ride to Jack in da box after to reward myself with some yummy food. Upon my return home i noticed a line in the road leading back to my house and into my garage. Upon further inspection i released i had a serious oil leak. Apparently the seal from my previous oil filter decided to stay on the car instead of the filter and when i put my new oil filter on it wouldn't seal completely..... I ended up losing about 2 and a half quarts of Royal Purple, but my car seems to be ok after a compression check.
Note to self: ALWAYS CHECK THE OLD FILTER FOR THE SEAL!!!!
Oh, i also hit a giant rock omw home from work the following day and lost my air filter....So new air filter time!!!
The worlds FASTEST air filter....so +50hp i think, it even shows a super-car on the side of the box!
Lets make sure we dont lose the filter again...
I also picked up a new phone :) Nokia Lumia 928, all my pictures will now be taken with this!
Any new updates on the teggy?
ReplyDeleteSold it, but u'll love what I'm going to do with my civic!
DeleteIn tuning up your car, you must also remember that some parts of the car, like the brakes, suspension, and tires, may also need some fine tuning/upgrading. And when it comes to any modifications, make sure to inform your insurance company about it and check how the modification will affect your insurance premium. About the new air filter that you got, are you sure that it didn’t invalidate any warranty? Oh, and congrats on the new Nokia Lumia 928!
